A photo of the missing "Anthem" scene that was shot to be the ending of the premiere, Saga Of A Star World. While the survivors sing an anthem of the colonies, Apollo finally learns of Serina's impending death due to radiation sickness. The scene was cut when it was decided that Serina would not die. An extremely rare piece of Galactica art used in a program guide for Universal Studios California. The shuttle tour at one time had a section where you would witness a battle between a group of Cylons and a Colonial warrior. The act was discontinued sometime during the early 80's, but it was actually caught on film in the movie The Nude Bomb.

A postcard showing part of the Battlestar Galactica segment of the Universal Studios Tour.

A nice overview of the Galactica bridge. Notice there is a computer in front of every chair. The $3 million worth of computers were donated by Tektronix in exchange for prominent screen credits.

An interesting shot of three Cylon Centurions inside a Cylon raider.

The cover of TV Guide the week that Battlestar Galactica premiered. Notice that the drawing of the Galactica is quite wrong.

TV guide ad for Saga Of A Star World. The same ad was used for the front and back cover of the Berkley novel Battlestar Galactica 2: The Cylon Death Machine. The woman is probably meant to be Athena, although she looks nothing like her. The art was created by Frank Frazetta.

More concept art created by Frank Frazetta. It's interesting that all the viper pilots are women. Ironically, there were no female pilots to be seen when the series began.

The back cover of the Berkley paperback novelization of Saga Of A Star World. Notice a very different looking portrait of the Galactica. Could this be one of the early concept sketches?

This photo appears to have been shot between takes during the filming of Adama's speech to the survivors on the surface of Caprica in Saga Of A Star World because Adama wore his cape (he isn't here) and Serina was not holding a book during the actual scene.
